


On august 17th 2011 the "gentleman driver" Fabio Montani established a new world record of speed OVER A MEASURED MILE at 300,357 Mph equals to 480,57 Km/h.
The record has been set at the BONNEVILLE SALT FLATS (Utah) in the category "Streamliner up to 4.200 cc" (260,99cid) normally aspirated and the exit speed at the end of the measured mile was 495,95 Km/h (Mph 309.975)
Fabio Montani built his own vehicle, named GUS GUS, choosing 16" aluminium forged ANTERA wheels.
The wheels were made out of a one-piece aluminium block and ANTERA decided that they needed to be full face to reach the perfect aerodynamic for the vehicle, helping establishing this record.
